Behind a double-double from junior forward Jenna Allen, Michigan State women’s basketball stopped in-state foe Western Michigan, 65-62, in a return to the Breslin Center.
The win halted a two-game losing streak for the Spartans, who improve to 5-2 this season. With the loss, Western Michigan slips to 4-5. The Broncos are coached by former MSU assistant coach Shane Clipfell, making a return to East Lansing. Former Spartan Cetera Washington is also an assistant coach for WMU.
