Five students who graduated in summer semester 2016 were eligible for the Board of Trustees’ Award after earning the highest scholastic average at the close of their last semester in attendance at MSU.
All five students received a 4.0 GPA.

Long Chen of Troy. Chen is an actuarial science major in the College of Natural Science. He is a graduate of Athens High School.
Jency Jo of South Korea. Jo is an interdisciplinary studies in social science major in the College of Social Science. Jo is a graduate of Danggok High School.
Brady Ryan of Saint Paul, Minn. Ryan is an Arabic major in the College of Arts and Letters and a member of the Honors College. Ryan is a graduate of Minnehaha Academy.
Shujie Chen of China. Chen is an education major in the College of Education. Chen is a graduate of Zhejiang Quzhou No. 2 High School.
Abigail Maynard of Holt. Maynard is a human biology major in Lyman Briggs College and a member of the Honors College. Maynard is a graduate of Holt High School.
