The Michigan State women’s golf team combined for its lowest round of the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational on Sunday with a 9-over par 297. The Spartans improved their score in both of the final two rounds of the three-day, 54-hole event and finished with a 909 (309-303-297) to take 14th place in the prestigious tournament at the UNC Finley Golf Course.
