MSU Department of Surgery opens new laser treatment center

The Department of Surgery in the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine has announced the opening of its MSU Aesthetic & Laser Treatment Center, located at 4660 S. Hagadorn Road in East Lansing.

The center will join together board-certified plastic surgeons from the College of Human Medicine and aestheticians to provide cosmetic services ranging from aesthetics to reconstructive and elective surgery.

“Our team’s technology and experienced practitioners are here to serve the Lansing community,” said Andrew Zwyghuizen, medical director of the treatment center and assistant professor of surgery in the College of Human Medicine. “The Department of Surgery is pleased to partner with aestheticians Olga Briseño and Beth Hunt, leaders in the Lansing area who will bring more than four decades of combined experience to our patients.”

The team also includes assistant professors of surgery Khalid Almutairi and James H.W. Clarkson.

The public is invited to the MSU Aesthetic and Laser Treatment Center grand opening celebration on Thursday, August 11, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Attendees can meet the center’s medical staff and enjoy refreshments, discounted products and giveaways.
