Michigan State University’s Department of Art, Art History and Design is looking for drawings that explore and engage with concepts of time and space for their upcoming exhibition, "Between Two Points."
From sequential art to gesture drawing, architectural plans to three-dimensional line, this exhibit will survey current creative engagement of spatial and temporal visual ideas by juxtaposing fragments of images, objects, ideas, and forms. This call is open to everyone 18 years or older and is open to all drawing media. Submissions can range from traditional to conceptual.
The Exhibition will be on view at (SCENE) Metrospace, an urban gallery in East Lansing, MI from Aug. 26 - Oct. 2. The only required criteria is that works must engage with the concept of time and space and be created through the act of drawing, all works of art must be made by visual artists living in the United States.
The Juror for the Exhibition is Robert McCann, associate professor and head of the Foundations Area in the Department of Art, Art History and Design at Michigan State University.
