The following are Wharton Center events throughout the end of 2015.

Lang Lang

  • Since performing with the Chicago Symphony at age 17, Lang Lang has played sold-out recitals and concerts in every major city in the world. In 2009, he appeared on Time’s annual list of the 100 Most Influential People in the World, with an influence that has inspired more than 40 million Chinese children to learn to play classical piano.

  • “Jersey Boys” is the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning Best Musical about rock and roll hall of famers The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi, four blue-collar kids who became one of the greatest successes in pop music history.

Morgan James

Wharton Center, Pasant Theatre

  • Singer-songwriter Morgan James performs a mix of neo-soul and pop. This opera-trained artist has become popular on YouTube, and has appeared on Broadway in “The Addams Family,” “Godspell” and “Motown the Musical.”“I sing like I’m never going to sing ever again,” Morgan said.

           “I wanted to capture that power and passion every time.”
