Spartans Take the World Stage for Homecoming 2015

Whether it’s a Final Four run or a performance at Carnegie Hall, Spartans shine bright.

That’s why the 2015 Homecoming theme “Spartans Take the World Stage” will put a spotlight on the intellect, talent and strength of Spartans all over the world Sept. 28-Oct. 3.

This year’s grand marshal, 1955 MSU alumnus William David Brohn, has displayed his musical talents on many stages during his long and successful career. As a top orchestrator, he has arranged scores for some of the most popular shows on Broadway including “Miss Saigon,” “Ragtime” and “Wicked.” Brohn won a Tony Award for Best Orchestrations for “Ragtime” and has won the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Orchestrations three times.

Once again, the "Glow Green" tradition will take place, which calls for all Spartans to switch out their porch or house lights to green ones during homecoming week. Spartans also can show their Spartan Spirit by submitting a "Glow Green" photo to the MSU Alumni Association Facebook page or by using the hashtag #GlowGreen on Twitter or Instagram to win one of three prizes.

Homecoming 2015 week features many events for the MSU community to attend. Following is a list of some of these events. For a complete list, including alumni tailgate locations, go here. Times and dates are subject to change and/or cancellation.
