OCAT to host its 13th annual Thanksgiving Student Fellowship Dinner

The 13th annual Thanksgiving Student Fellowship Dinner is scheduled for Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26.

Michigan State University’s Office of Cultural & Academic Transitions hosts this event, along with Culturas de las Razas Unidas and Residence Education and Housing Services.

The fellowship dinner began in 2003 by Felipe Lopez, who was a CRU member residing in Akers Hall. Lopez noticed that hundreds of students were isolated on campus during the holiday, and decided to order pizza and invite everyone in Eats Neighborhood to eat together in one of the classrooms in Akers Hall.

This annual dinner is free to all students remaining on campus during Thanksgiving Day. For more information, visit http://ocat.msu.edu/thanksgiving-day-dinner/.
