MSU Federal Credit Union supports exhibits, education at MSU Museum

A recent $40,000 gift from the MSU Federal Credit Union will support MSU Museum exhibits, education and programs.

The funds will support collections and research-based exhibitions in the Heritage Gallery, Art-Science-Creativity Gallery, Family Discovery Day in the fall and SEAL Tots, an ongoing program using guided exhibit activity kits to develop observation, analytical and communication skills for preschoolers.

Also included in the donation is support for the MSUFCU Dinosaur Dash 5K run/walk, set for Oct. 4, which benefits educational programs at the MSU Museum.

“No other community organization has had a bigger imprint on MSU Museum audiences and programs than the MSU Federal Credit Union,” said Lora Helou, acting director of the MSU Museum. “We are incredibly fortunate to have a partner in MSUFCU that is so supportive of families, education, community and connectedness.”

MSUFCU has been a steady contributor to numerous MSU Museum exhibitions, educational programs and building services, which have enhanced the visitor experience.

“MSUFCU is proud to be a long-time supporter of the MSU Museum,” said MSUFCU President and CEO April M. Clobes. “The museum’s educational programming provides superior educational and cultural opportunities for our community.”
