The Michigan State University Board of Trustees will meet at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the Board Room of the Hannah Administration Building.
Following are several items the board will consider.
- Authorization to plan for infrastructure improvements that support student, staff and faculty recreation and fitness as part of the university’s Healthy Campus Initiative.
- Authorization of the sale of 38 acres of vacant land in Antrim County.
- Approval of an amendment to a university ordinance that will allow fishing in designated areas on the north bank of the Red Cedar River.
- Approval of a number of personnel items, including a dean and interim dean.
In addition, the board will receive reports from the president and board chairman; the gifts, grants and contracts report; and honor the Trustee GPA Award recipients.
