The Michigan State University Board of Trustees will meet at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the Board Room of the Hannah Administration Building.
Following are several items the board will consider.
- The adoption of new basic residence hall room-and-board rates.
- The creation of the Department of Computational Mathematics, Science and Engineering.
- The appointment of a new director of the Office of Internal Audit.
- The authorization to proceed with the construction of the Saginaw Valley Research and Extension Center – Agricultural Education Center in Frankenmuth.
Other agenda items include reports from the president and board chairman, a gifts and grants report, presentation of the Board of Trustees’ Scholarship Award recipients, and presentation of the annual Diversity and Inclusion Report.
