Jeff Grabill, chairperson of the Department of Writing, Rhetoric and American Cultures, has been appointed associate provost for teaching, learning and technology, effective Oct. 15.
He will continue his role as chairperson.
Grabill will be responsible for guiding the development of technology-enhanced instruction on campus, working collaboratively with MSU’s chief information officer on issues related to the teaching and learning experience.
In addition, he will engage with the deans of the Graduate School and undergraduate education on new models related to curriculum development and delivery.
“I’m excited about Jeff’s new role and the expertise he will bring to aligning our instructional technology initiatives into a cohesive program,” said MSU Provost June Pierce Youatt.
