MSU’s Department of Teacher Education and Education Policy Center invite the public to discuss education issues during “Brews and Views” from 5:30 to 7 p.m. April 28 at Midtown Brewing Co. in Lansing.
The discussion will focus on the Common Core State Standards Initiative. Experts in teacher education, social studies, literacy, science and math from the College of Education will share their expertise and answer questions on the history of Common Core and what it means for Michigan students.
Everyone is encouraged to join the discussion or to send in questions for the experts ahead of time using #MSUBrewsAndViews. Refreshments and food will be available for purchase at the event.
