Department of Theatre’s 'Macbeth' comes to life

The Department of Theatre at Michigan State University brings to life the Shakespearean tragedy, “Macbeth,” in its next main stage production which will be performed at The Fairchild Theatre from Feb. 20 to March 1.

Continuing a season of “Power Plays,” Ann Folino White directs Macbeth, featuring two graduate students performing their culminating thesis roles (Andy Head as Macbeth and Sarah Goeke as Lady Macbeth). Using research that explored the Comic Art Collection on campus, the production’s staging features a comic book aesthetic that integrates media with live stage action.
