Air Force members to visit MSU

The School of Criminal Justice will host 35 active duty U.S. Air Force crime prevention program managers Aug. 3-14.

The program managers will take a criminal justice class on critical issues in private security during their visit to MSU. Course work will cover topics in crime prevention and analysis along with various field activities, including an anti-robbery exercise and a security survey of buildings at a nearby National Guard air base.

They’ll also hear presentations from experts on security topics. Speakers include Detroit police officer Brian Fountain; Dan Decker, president of Safety Systems Inc.; and Jerome P. Miller, retired senior manager in charge of international and special security operations for Chrysler Corp.
