The MSU Benefits Open Enrollment for the 2016 benefits plan year will be held Oct. 1 – Oct. 31.
Benefits-eligible faculty, staff and retirees can re-evaluate their benefits selections and make changes, such as switching health and dental plans, adding or removing dependents, or changing life insurance and Flexible Spending Account options. Faculty, staff and retirees must also complete the health care affidavit at this time to continue coverage for a spouse of Other Eligible Individual.
There will be three Benefits Fairs held at the Breslin Center during open enrollment where you can learn about benefits options and have questions answered by benefits plan vendor representatives and human resources staff members. They are:
• Noon - 6 p.m., Oct. 20
• 9 a.m. - 4 p.m, Oct. 21
• 7 a.m. - 3 p.m., Oct. 22
There are several changes to be aware of during this year’s Open Enrollment, including changes to Aetna dental plan eligibility and prescription coverage changes.To learn more, visit the MSU Human Resources website.
