UAB events earn regional recognition

Two MSU University Activities Board events earned recognition as some of 2014’s best campus programs at the National Association for Campus Activities Mid America Regional Conference.

The MSU Drag Show earned the Diversity/Social Justice Program of the Year Award, and Spartan Sing Off: A Cappella Edition featuring The Filharmonic was named Innovative Program of the Year.

All NACA award-winning programs are recognized for their contributions to advancing campus engagement.

UAB offers a number of activities in the MSU Union and across campus for the benefit of the university’s community. It is comprised of 11 student directors, three advisers, two graduate students and more than 200 members.
