The next Rest with Music performance featuring MSU College of Music members Ron Newman and Rick Illman will take place from 12:10 to 12:50 p.m. March 17 at Abrams Planetarium.
Newman is a professor of music theory and former director of the MSU Jazz Band. Illman is an associate professor of trumpet who has performed in the bands of Ray Charles, Doc Severinson and Burt Bacharach.
The Rest with Music series aims to promote relaxation and health with live music. All performances are free and open to the public.
