The Michigan State University College of Music visits the Christmas of old this holiday season with its annual MSU’s Home for the Holidays performance at 4 p.m. Dec. 6 in Wharton Center’s Cobb Great Hall.
The event will offer a variety of traditional Christmas music with carols, storytelling and sing-alongs. Children will be invited on stage during the performance to decorate the tree, and even old St. Nick will appear.
More than 250 musicians will take the stage during this family–friendly afternoon.
“An unforgettable show that is only possible once a year,” said Kevin Noe, director of MSU Orchestras. “We want this to be an annual tradition for families in the community that will help spread cheer during the holiday season.”
Tickets are available at Wharton Center Box Office. The cost is $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and $10 for students with ID and those under 18. Tickets may also be purchased by calling (517) 432-2000 or 800-WHARTON. Tickets are also being sold online at the Wharton Center website.
