MSU interior design junior Claudia Belzer and interior design senior Jacob Hill competed in the Central Michigan University and Michigan State University Student Interior Design contest at the Michigan Antiques Festival in Midland, Mich. on May 30-31.
Belzer designed a dining room with a student from CMU and won the Designer’s Choice Award. Hill’s team designed a bedroom and won the People’s Choice, Judge’s and Sales awards.
The Michigan Antique Festival awards more than $2,000 in scholarship money to students to help continue their education.
