MSU Saginaw Valley Research and Extension Center Annual Research Tour

From 9 a.m. to noon on Aug. 26 at the MSU Saginaw Valley Research and Extension Center, visitors will have the opportunity to hear from leading MSU scientists about cutting-edge research in sugarbeets, dry, edible beans and other Saginaw Valley crops.

Twenty-minute tours of research plots will begin at 9 a.m. They will cover the latest findings in variety development, nitrogen research, weed management, disease control and insects.

The field day is open to the public for $20 per person. Registration runs from 8 to 8:45 a.m. Lunch will be provided at noon.

The MSU Saginaw Valley Research and Extension Center is located at 3775 S. Reese Rd. in Frankenmuth, Michigan.
