“Take it from the Top,” a series of interactive workshops offered through the MSU Federal Credit Union Institute for Arts and Creativity at the Wharton Center, gives participants - young adults and beyond - an opportunity to train with a team of top Broadway professionals and top New York City casting director, Justin Huff.
The workshops will take place from July 28 to Aug. 2 at various times. The cost of the five-day musical theatre intensive workshop is $295 for pre-teens and teens. The cost of the six-day advanced musical theatre intensive workshop is $395.
The workshops are taught by Paul Canaan and a talented team of Broadway professionals from New York City, with connections to such shows as “Legally Blonde: The Musical,” “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang,” “Miss Saigon,” “Thoroughly Modern Millie,” “La Cage aux Folles” and many more high-profile productions.
Participants learn the craft of musical theater with basic to advanced skills, industry history and practical content in an exciting, fast-moving, interactive setting.
