Jelani Zarif

4. Grad Factor: Jelani Zarif, a former cell and molecular biology doctoral graduate student at MSU, is now a postdoctoral fellow in urology at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. A published author in the journal Cancer Research, Zarif hopes to run his own lab one day and train the next cohort of scientists seeking new treatments—and, ultimately, a cure—for prostate cancer.
