Microbiology Day slated for April 26 at  Impression 5

Impression 5 Science Center and MSU's Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics are hosting Microbiology Day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 26  at Impression 5 in downtown Lansing.

MSU's microbiology and molecular genetics professors and students will be on site to show what makes microbiology so important and how it affects our everyday lives. The day will be full of interactive demonstrations and fun activities, including:

  • Discovering what kind of microbe you are.
  • Seeing bioluminescence in action.
  • Learning about energy-generating bacteria.
