Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center kicks off Fall 2014 Visiting Chef Series

The Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center’s Visiting Chef Series kicks off Sept. 10 and 11 featuring a cooking demonstration and dinner with Chef John Coletta, executive chef of Quartino Ristorante & Wine Bar in Chicago.

The second series starts on Oct. 15 with a cooking demonstration by TV personality, author, humanitarian and former personal chef to Oprah Winfrey, Chef Art Smith of The Art Smith Co. The following evening, guests will be treated to dinner prepared by an exciting trio of chefs including Don Yamauchi, executive chef and co-owner of the Shore Club, Williams Bay, Wis.; Benjamin Meyer, chef de cuisine of Iridescence, Detroit;, and Eric Voigt, corporate executive pastry chef of Big Rock Chop House, Birmingham.

The fall series concludes Nov. 19 and 20 with a cooking demonstration and dinner with Chef Michael Kramer, executive chef of Table 301 Restaurant Group, Greenville, S.C.

This year marks the 100th chef event, a proud milestone in the Visiting Chef Series. Since the series began in 1998, the Kellogg Center has showcased a diverse group of highly celebrated, award-winning chefs from across the country and featured a variety of both national and international cuisines.
