IPPSR's 2014 Forum Series to begin Jan. 22

The MSU Institute for Public Policy and Social Research is launching its 2014 Forum Series Jan. 22. The first forum of 2014 will showcase Michigan’s demographic information and how it relates to the state’s 2014 economic agenda and beyond.

Forum speakers will include Kenneth Darga, former Michigan demographer, and MSU professor Charles Ballard, an economist and director of MSU’s State of the State Survey.

MSU’s IPPSR will host public policy forums from 11:30 a.m. to1:30 p.m. on the following dates: Jan. 22, March 19, April 23 and May 21. Forums take place in the 5th floor Mackinac Room of the Anderson House Office Building at 124 N. Capitol Ave in Lansing.

Registration for the events can be completed online here or by calling (517) 355-6672. The forums are open to the general public, and there is no charge to attend them. A light lunch will be served on a first-come, first-served basis.
