Journalist Anita Raghavan will discuss her book, “The Billionaire’s Apprentice: The Rise of the Indian-American Elite and the Fall of the Galleon Hedge Fund” March 21 at the Broad College of Business as part of the Broad Graduate Speaker Series.
Students, faculty, and staff from all MSU colleges are welcome to attend the talk from 3:30–5 p.m. in the Business College Complex room N100.
The book describes the collapse of the Galleon Group hedge fund from criminal charges of insider trading. Raghavan, who has covered the financial industry for the Wall Street Journal and Forbes, crisscrossed the globe from Wall Street to Delhi’s Indian Institute of Technology to uncover this story of triumph, temptation and tragedy.
