William Atchison, associate dean for research and graduate studies in the MSU College of Veterinary Medicine, has been awarded the 2014 Society of Toxicology Undergraduate Educator Award. He was nominated for the award by peers and fellow SOT members.
SOT recognized Atchison for his training of 17 Ph.D. students, his dedication to diversity, his promotion of undergraduates and more. He also has published more than 95 articles in peer-reviewed literature and 14 book chapters.
Atchison will be formally presented his award at SOT’s 53rd annual ToxExpo March 23 in Phoenix, Ariz.
