Bling the Broad

On Saturday, the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum will host a screening of “The Bling Ring.”

Sofia Coppola’s “The Bling Ring” is a movie based on the real-life circle of teens who committed several heists on celebrities’ homes in Hollywood, most infamously Paris Hilton. The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2013 and received mainly positive reviews.

The movie features several big-name stars, including Emma Watson, and cameo apperances by others, including the celebrities who were robbed.

There will be awards for best dressed and best supporting dressed. Not a fan of getting gussied up? Fill out an Oscar ballot for your predictions of this year’s winners, and you could win another prize.

There will be refreshments, a photo booth, valet parking and, of course, a red carpet. The night begins at 7 p.m. and is free to members; $10 to the general public.
