Seminars in research and technology to be held Dec. 17-18

IT Services will offer two days of no-cost workshops on research and instructional technology Dec. 17 and 18.

The workshops are designed to allow experts in online learning and software to support faculty, academic staff and graduate assistants in their teaching and research roles.

Morning sessions will run from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and afternoon sessions will take place from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. in computer labs and classrooms across MSU’s campus. Participants may partake in up to four sessions over the two-day period.

Session topics will include instruction on teaching partial or completely online courses, using iClickers as teaching tools, working with LON-CAPA and more. Free lunches will take place at the MSU Union Ballroom on both days for all attendees.

Faculty may now enroll here and graduate assistants can enroll here. The enrollment deadline is Dec. 13.
