The Michigan State University College of Arts and Letters will team up with departments across campus to celebrate literary legend Don Juan Nov. 1-2.
The celebration kicks off at 7 p.m. on Nov. 1 in the MSU RCAH Auditorium in Snyder Hall. Mexican American Playwright Carlos Morton will highlight Don Juan's legacy. A reception will follow. The event ends at 9 p.m.
On Nov. 2 the following events are scheduled:
- From noon to 1 p.m.: A roundtable discussion of Chicano and Latino theater with Carlos Morton will take place in Wells Hall. Lunch will be provided.
- From 2 to 5:30 p.m.: Academic Symposium: The Don Juan Traditions will be held in the MSU Union. Guest speakers are expected to present with a reception following.
All of the Don Juan Week events are free and open to the public.
