As the unrest in Libya escalates, Mohammed Ayoob, University Distinguished Professor of international relations, can discuss the country's political climate and the possible worldwide impact of an uprising against the Kadafi regime.
He is expert on conflict and security in the Third World, focusing especially on the Middle East and Northern Africa. A respected author, he is also an expert on the intersection of religion and politics in the Muslim world. In fact, he is director of MSU's Muslim Studies Program.
