EAST LANSING, Mich. -- The Big Ten Conference released July 15 the list of student-athletes who received the 2009-10 Big Ten Distinguished Scholar Award. The conference recognized 484 student-athletes for earning a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for the 2009-10 academic year. Included in the list were 51 Michigan State student-athletes.
