Popular MSU web portal launches international business blog

MSU recently expanded its popular globalEDGE Web portal to include an International Business Blog, which enables interactive users to discuss international news and trends.

The portal – run by MSU’s Center for International Business Education and Research – offers professionals worldwide access to valuable business resources to gain insight about today’s rapidly changing global marketplace.

Partially funded by the U.S. Department of Education, globalEDGE is a free Internet resource supporting 36,000 professionals who conduct market research online and look for ways to network with international business leaders.

The new blog offers dynamic, interactive discussion on topics related to international business and global trade. It also will keep users up-to-speed on new and updated features throughout the globalEDGE Web site.

The portal also offers business information relevant to each country and U.S. state; industry profiles; teaching resources and coursework information; and interactive tools to support business decisions.

From its beginning as a single Web page in 1994, globalEDGE has developed into one of the most comprehensive online international business resources. The site boasts nearly 5 million hits monthly, and holds a top rank among Google and Yahoo users searching for international business resources.
