Spring Break for Change
For many college students, spring break is a time for sandy beaches and a rest from spring semester classes. But for a group of more than 200 Spartan undergraduates, grad students and faculty, the week offers the opportunity to hit the road, roll up their sleeves and get to work in communities across the United States. The students are members of MSU’s student-run service organization Alternative Spartan Breaks, part of the Center for Service-Learning and Civic Engagement.
